Many drivers want to delete the Cold Start Mode when their catalyst is removed, or sport exhaust is added. When this mode is ON, and the car is cold, the RPM will jump higher to heat up the catalyst. With this feature, the catalyst gets heated up, and it works optimally to lower the emissions. But, when the catalyst is removed from the vehicle or sport exhaust is added catalyst heating option will create a loud and disturbing sound.
