CVN Bypass service – NEW for BMW and VAG

CVN (Calibration Verification Number) Bypass Service:

If you wish to bypass the Calibration Verification Number you need to upload the following:
– Original (stock) readout
– Modified file
– ID & CVN log done with diagnostics from original software

Overview

As its name suggests, Calibration Verification Number, together with CALID ( Calibration Identification ) is used on all ECUs that work with OBDII standard. CVN is used by the manufacturer to verify the integrity of the vehicle software, i.e. if the ECU calibration used currently in the car is the original one.

Since 2018 many European countries use the CVN check in the annual car inspection. The inspection compares the number with an online database. This way they can see if if the car has the latest software update and if it is tuned. For instance many tuned cars are refused by the annual inspection from the TÜV in Germany since 2018. The CVN Bypass service can solve this issue.
