As a leading file service company, we recently had a customer come to us with a request to remove the start-stop system on their customer Renault Kadjar equipped with MD1CS005 ecu.
We carefully reviewed the vehicle’s ECU systems and made the necessary modifications to disable the start-stop system. Once the modification was complete, we ran extensive tests to ensure that the vehicle was running smoothly and all systems were functioning properly.
The results were satisfactory. The start-stop system was successfully removed from the Renault Kadjar, giving the customer greater control over the vehicle and improving their driving experience, and increasing the lifespan of the starter motor.
Why should you disable the StartStop-system?
We understand that the start-stop system can be a useful feature for some drivers, as it can help to reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions by automatically turning off the engine when the vehicle is stopped at traffic lights or in other situations.
However, we also recognize that some drivers find the start-stop system to be annoying or inconvenient, particularly in stop-and-go traffic situations. This is because the system can cause the engine to shut off and restart frequently, which can cause wear and tear on certain components, such as the starter motor and battery.
In addition, some drivers may prefer to have more control over their vehicle and may find the start-stop system to be intrusive or distracting. Disabling the start-stop system can allow drivers to have greater control over their vehicle and can provide a more seamless and enjoyable driving experience.
